This is our last weekly market report that will be published in July. Next week’s report will be for the week ending on July 31, but it will not be published until August.
There’s still a lot of summer and we hope everybody is enjoying it like we are here at the NJ shore. If you are thinking of buying or selling this fall– and there are excellent reasons fall can be the best time of year to do that for both buyers and sellers–, you should schedule some serious time in the midst of your summer fun to start planning. September comes fast and it’s often busy. Sellers should start preparing now. Buyers moving quickly often find the best homes and the best prices when the market suddenly sees an influx of many new listings. We anticipate this year might see that effect on steroids.
