The Burke & Co. Weekly Market Report for Avalon, Sea Isle, and Stone Harbor– Week Ending April 17, 2021

All’s quiet on the eastern seaboard. Anybody who has paid any attention to real estate markets in Avalon, Sea Isle, or Stone Harbor– or anywhere across the county for that matter– knows that it’s certainly been interesting over the last 12 months. It’s therefore surprisingly and almost eerily quiet right now, at a point in the year which is usually bustling with some of the highest activity. You can’t have real estate action though without homes to sell and inventory is unprecedentedly low.

I’ve spoken to many shore homeowners and many are thinking about selling in this strong market. However almost to a person, they tell me that they want this one last season at the shore. I can’t blame them. As we move from a dire circumstance to a more hopeful one, this has the hallmark of being a banner summer for friendliness, fun, and togetherness in the shore towns we love.

This made us wonder at Burke & Co., A Long & Foster Real Estate Group, if there were a way we could help those shore owners simultaneously capitalize on this late spring/early summer sale shortage while finding a way to still enjoy the summer here without the inconveniences so many associate with selling homes. We have a plan based on a pilot program that we used several years ago.

You can find a discussion of this summer sale plan here in this video: https://youtu.be/K6UF_G4gTh0
