Some of you may have noticed we missed our report last week, so this week we are cramming two weeks into one report.

So it’s a two-for-one. But it’s also six-of-one and half-a-dozen-of-another. Because it might be two different weeks, but the one story remains the same.

Inventory is low. Well-priced homes are going under contract quickly. And only strong buyers who are well-prepared and willing to act quickly will get the prize.

Will the fall bring more inventory? We all certainly hope so. However, if anything is certain right now, it’s that nothing is. And the question of whether or not it gets better for sellers or buyers in the relatively short term future (say 3 years) is a wide open question.
