Record Breaking Sea Isle City and Avalon Sales
Record sales don’t track precisely with peaks in the real estate market. The uniqueness of the properties that establish new records is the most important factor, so it’s the homes themselves rather than the overall market condition that are the primary cause. With that caveat mentioned, it also is usually the case that record sales are occurring while markets are very strong. If that is the case, both Sea Isle and Avalon sold listings last week might indicate that overall prices did not peak or retreat in the last couple of years.
The single highest priced sale of a residence in Sea Isle occurred when a single-family home at 7605 Pleasure Ave. transferred to a cash buyer for the sum of $6.43 million. Check out this property here.
In the same week, the highest price for a non-beachfront residence in Avalon was recorded with the sale of a bayfront single-family home at 19 Flamingo Drive for $11.6 million. Check out this property here.
