Months of supply is a measure of the number of homes actively listed divided by the number of homes going under contract per month. And in the shore communities of Cape May County, that number is swelling. In Avalon and Stone Harbor, the unofficial measure by which a market is considered a sellers’ market (i.e. less than 6 months of supply) is no more.
