*Summer Rental Preparations and Reminders*

Here are some reminders to get your property ready for your upcoming rentals.
Batteries

  • Replace in smoke and carbon Monoxide detectors.
  • Replace batteries in any electronic locks with codes
  • Don’t forget about the TV remotes.

Bedding

  • Pillows, Blankets, Comforters, Mattress Pads, Pillows available and cleaned – replace if needed.

Cable/ Wi-Fi

  • WIFI information posted in unit.
  • Does the information need to be updated? If so please contact the office to provide updated log in/ password.

CLEANERS

  • Please let your cleaners know to send pictures (2) when there is an issue to ensure your insurance claim gets processed in a timely manner.

Housekeeping Items

  • Ceiling fans & vents cleaned.
  • Are lightbulbs working inside and outside?
  • Remove any personal items you do not want tenants to have access to.

HVAC

  • Has it been serviced?
  • Filters replaced?

Keys

  • Keypads or codes ensure Long and Foster has the most up to date codes.
  • New keys in the off season? Please provide to the office

Suggested Cleaning Items available to tenants

  • Ant traps, Broom, Dustpan, Kitchen/ Bathroom cleaner, Mop & Bucket, Sponges, Trash Bags, Vacuum

Water

  • Turn on water inside and outside
  •  If hot water tanks are on vacation mode turn off
